About STEP Maths Exams

STEP (Sixth Term Examination Paper) Mathematics has been established for many years. It sets questions that are similar in style to undergraduate mathematics.

The University of Cambridge uses STEP for conditional offers. Sometimes other universities request applicants to take STEP.

Some people sit STEP papers as a challenge.

STEP syllabus is based on GCE A Level. Questions test the ability to use maths in new and unusual ways. You can read more about the syllabus here.
